Origins of the Wolfpack

The original members of Wolfpack first met on bungie.net's Myth II online gaming server. Right around the start of 1999, three friends started playing what they called "The Late Night Clan" on bungie.net. Between Dragon, Swordie, and Lady Arwen, large cooperative and multiplayer "traitor" games became common, usually set between the hours of 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Soon, others became regulars at Dragon's hosting cafe. Among the early members were Shaka, Dreadstar, Magellan and Zombie. Out of a half joke, these games were dubbed "The Late Night Wolf Pack," where quick humor and light joking ran the night.

Soon, the challenge of ranked competition beckoned. The Pack began organizing its numbers for all-night rank whoring on bungie.net. Crown ranks looked twice as their best strategies and their undefeated records were broken by the shields and daggers who once played the unranked games of the Pack.

One fateful day, discouraged at the numbers that were entering the games to play against Pack members, Lady Arwen suggested a "fake" order tag after everyone's name – WP. Struck seriously by this concept, the five members – now Shaka, Magellan, Swordie, Phelan and Lady Arwen – decided their true calling was running with the Pack. One thing led to another, and thus began the Wolfpack.
