WWII: Titans
Review by Trinity | October 10, 1999

Set during an undisclosed period of World War II, Santa's Head of Clan Plaid has released Titans, a creative and highly detailed conversion of the Myth II game. Utilizing Bungie's Fear and Loathing editors, Santa's Titans is the most recent in a series of WWII conversions begun earlier this year by himself.

Tanks on b.net: Titans adds new depths to the previous WWII conversions.
New features of Titans include a tank unit, which possesses a machine gun. There's also a standard ballistic cannon, new weapons such as machine gun ammo for infantry, smoke grenades, anti personnel mines, remotely-triggered explosives, and a better designed overhead map, which is most helpful for team play.

Also included in the download is a full conversion for both standard Myth II multiplayer maps, and also the co-op/single player missions.

Titans is 14MB (if .sit) and 16.4MB (if .zip) and can be found at the Mill, CPHL, Clan Plaid's homepage or the full list of links at Bungie (in the news banner).

Bottom line: Titans adds new depths to the previous WWII conversions, making old-school WWII players happy; those who were dissatisfied with previous conversions will give it a much deserved reconsideration.
